Not sure what happened to Spring, very short lived as the weather seemed more like winter. But Summer is here and the suny days have outnumbered the rainy days since being back from Florida - so that's good news.
Feeling pretty much over the flu bug I got after returning from Disney and went on a run this morning. Just 30 minutes, but good to get out again.
Been pretty busy with work, catching up from the missed days last week, so ended up working much of the holiday weekend. Picked up another project, so have about 4 projects/jobs going now, probably too many but hopefully I can finish off one of them by end of week and just run with the other three for the summer.
Picked up the latest GQ, not normally a magazine I read, as you have to flip through 200 pages of ads before getting to any articles, but this issue (aside from having Pitt on it) has 4-5 profiles of people who restarted their lifes mid way through. Basically people who quit the jobs they disliked to start pursuing their passions. One guy quit being a Lawyer to bake cakes, another took 18 months to travel and now sells Rare carpets, another guy attempted a solo traverse to the North Pole last year. Anyway I like finding little stories like those and collecting them for regular re-reading and inspiration. Getting closer to writing my next chapter of the restart. A little more Sanity savings fund and I'll pull the plug.
