Ran 45 minutes yesterday. Good run, higher HR tempo pace. Felt good to begin, slowed up a bit about 25 minutes in, and then recovered for the last 10-15 coming home.
Today went out on the bike for 3 1/2 hours. Easy Tumalo Loop to start, about an hour. Then climbed out toward Bachelor, climbed out for about 1:45, then took 45 to get back. Good ride, definitely worked me climbing for that long. Not real steep of a climb but long and steady. I'll definitely be stronger for it if I can do that climb each week.
Spent the rest of the day doing chores around the house. Tried to fix a dripping facet in the bath tub and made a complete mess. The knob came off and the water was spitting out like a fire hose against the back of the tub. Water everywhere. Took forever to find the main line to shut off the water. It ended up being out in the front of the house in and I had to dig for the lever that turned it off. A definite fiasco.
Then had to cut back the wild grass and weeds with a weed wacker, that took another hour and a half.
And never did get the leak fixed. Just cleaned up all the water and put it back together. Figure it was a sign that I shouldn't be messing with trying to be a handy man. Maybe I'll give it another go tomorrow.
